The outermost layer of the duvet is made of bamboo fibres, which are:

Several studies have been done around the use of weighted blankets. Here are 4 good examples:
A 2020 study by Swedish researchers found that weighted blankets improved sleep in people with major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and ADHD. In the study, 120 people were given either a light blanket or a heavy blanket. After 4 weeks, those who used the gravity blanket had less insomnia and reduced fatigue, depression or anxiety during the day.
A 2021 study also conducted by Swedish researchers who found that weighted blankets helped adults and children with autism or ADHD fall asleep and stay asleep.
